When You Feel Afraid
Thunder. A first day somewhere new. A dark hallway. Everybody, even grown-ups, feels afraid sometimes.
Psalm 56 gives us one of the shortest, strongest prayers in the whole Bible. When fear shows up, you can say it right out loud: “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.”
Fear likes to whisper that you're all alone. But God is closer than your fear, and He is holding you the whole time.
“When I am afraid, I will trust in You.”
