Psalm 150
Let Everything Praise the LORD
This is the grand finale of the whole book of Psalms! Praise God with every instrument you can think of — trumpets, harps, lyres, tambourines, strings, flutes, and cymbals! And when all the instruments finish, the final voice that praises God is the most important one: YOU! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
- 1Hallelujah! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty expanse.
- 2Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.
- 3Praise Him with the blast of the trumpet; praise Him with harp and lyre.
- 4Praise Him with tambourine and dancing; praise Him with strings and flute.
- 5Praise Him with clashing cymbals; praise Him with resounding cymbals.
- 6Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Hallelujah!
What it means
The whole book of Psalms ends with an explosion of praise! Every instrument, every nation, every living creature — everything that breathes is invited to praise God. That includes you!
A little prayer
Lord, I praise You with everything I have! Let all my life be a song of praise to You. Hallelujah! Amen.
