Shout for Joy to the LORD

Shout for joy! Sing! Come into God's courts with a thankful heart. This psalm tells us three amazing truths: God made us, we belong to Him, and He is good forever. His love never runs out and His faithfulness goes on for every generation!

  1. 1Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
  2. 2Serve the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
  3. 3Know that the LORD is God. He made us, and we are His; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
  4. 4Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and bless His name.
  5. 5For the LORD is good; His loving devotion endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.

What it means

We were made to worship God with joy! He is our Maker, we are His people, and His love for us never runs out. Every single day we can come to Him with thankfulness.

A little prayer

Lord, I shout for joy because You are good! I belong to You and You love me forever. Thank You for Your goodness that never ends. Amen.
