Read-Along & Audio

Word-highlighting practice mode and listen buttons.

What is Read-Along Mode?

A toggle on every Psalm page that reads the verses aloud and highlights each word as it's spoken, great practice for early readers. You can also tap any single word to hear just that word on its own.

Why isn't the word highlighting working?

Read-Along uses your browser's own built-in reading voice. The audio still plays even if highlighting doesn't appear, since word-by-word timing isn't supported the same way on every browser. Chrome and Edge tend to support it best.

Can I hear a single word?

Yes, in Read-Along Mode, tap any word directly and it will be read aloud on its own, useful for sounding out a tricky word.

Why do some story audio buttons not appear?

Not every Bible story has pre-recorded narration yet. The "Listen to the story" button only shows up once audio exists for that story, so its absence isn't a bug, that story's audio just hasn't been added yet.
