ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (25.05.2023):
VERSE:
O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. (PSALMS 92:5)
EXPLANATION:
Today let’s meditate on the promise verse Psalm 92:5 “How great are thy works, O Lord! How deep are thy thoughts.” (Psalm 92:5)
Our God’s love for us is very deep. What is the depth of his wealth, wisdom and knowledge!
His judgments are immeasurable. His ways are unsearchable! (Romans 11:33). Not only that, God’s thoughts are very deep.
Thoughts are running incessantly in the depths of a man’s soul, but man takes one of these thoughts and starts thinking.
Thought is deeper than thoughts. After that he starts to think what he thought. He stops and looks. What is good? What is bad? He thinks and makes a decision.
Many times the ways that seem beneficial to him are the way of death. “The Lord knoweth that the thoughts of man are vain” (Psalm 94:11) “His spirit shall depart, and he shall return to his ground; in that day his thoughts shall perish” (Psalm 146:4).
How different are the thoughts of man and the thoughts of God. “His ideas are profound.” (Psalm 92:5)
For example, if we want to create man, first, we have to create a world for him. He would have thought how far that world should be placed from the Sun.
If the earth is brought closer to the sun, the heat will not stand and man will burn to ashes. If you keep it far away, it will get cold. What forces are needed to hang such a large earth in private? What does man need? What types of food are required? What kind of temperature is required? He thought and thought and created everything.
He saw everything created as good. All creation shows that He is great in thought. Man can imagine anything and everything. But the children of God must submit their thoughts to the Lord.
The wise man says, “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established” (Proverbs 16:3). “The thoughts of the heart are of a man; the answer of the tongue is from the Lord” (Proverbs 16:1) “The thoughts of a man’s heart are many, but the counsel of the Lord will stand” (Proverbs 19:21).
Have you ever noticed two people playing chess? No matter how deep they think and think and move the dice. Although the thought is very deep, victory comes only from God. Even when you think and think, if you do it before the Lord, you will win.
The thought of a man’s heart is like deep water: the wise will draw it up” (Proverbs 20:5).
PRAYER:
Lord ! We submit our ideas to you. As humans, the thoughts of our hearts are many, but the Lord we pray that your ideas will stand. Amen!
