ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (20.09.2023):

VERSE:
Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. (PSALM 19:12&13 KJV)

EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The verse we are going to meditate on today is Psalm 19:12,13 “Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.”

This is David’s fervent prayer to preserve his holiness! To live a spotless life, with spirit. This is a thoughtful application! If one prays this prayer faithfully every day, he will be protected from the impurities of the world and the lusts of sex.

We can see sin and its development in four ways.

The first is errors or mistakes. Knowingly or unknowingly committed crimes (Errors). Catch the pit foxes and little foxes that are ruining your spiritual vineyard. Cast out the leaven that leavens the whole soul (Exodus 12:15).

Second, secret sins. Secret sins committed against wife, husband and children. And to the government. They may be hidden from law and society. But nothing is hidden from the Lord who can penetrate into the innermost parts. All things are naked and exposed before His eyes (Hebrews 4:13).

Thirdly, Presumptuous Sins. Being enslaved by the spirit of lust and the spirit of fornication, without caring about anything, they commit boldly. Selling oneself to sin. It is the suppression of mental evidence.

Fourth, Great Transgression. Murder, robbery and rape are unheard of even among the Gentiles. These lead a man directly to Hades and the Sea of Fire.

David’s sin with Bathsheba was a hidden crime. The world might have praised David and said, “Righteous who gave life to the widow. He built up the family of his dead servant.” But in the eyes of the Lord, it is a very deadly act, murder is evil.

How bowed David was to experience this sensuality! What rich curses. The Lord said: “You have sinned in private. I will cause all your women to be humiliated in the sunlight in public.” Moreover, the sword followed the house of David forever.

Beloved, discover the hidden sins within you in the light of the Lord! The ways you behave when no one knows, the inappropriate friendships, inappropriate relationships, inappropriate views, inappropriate letters that no one knows, if you do not stop them now, it may lead you to pain later.

Most of the ship is under water. Some oysters will stick to the bottom of the ship. After that many oysters will come and join it. If it is not removed periodically and the bottom of the boat is cleaned, it can eventually block the boat from moving. That’s why David prays to deliver him from hidden sins.

Hidden crimes may be overlooked by the world. But nothing is hidden from God’s sight. Take care of your life by reading Psalm 51 and Isaiah 53 from time to time.

PRAYER:
Lord of love! Nothing can be hidden from you. You know my heart. I surrender myself completely before you. Forgive my sins, cleanse me, guide me according to your will from this day forward, I praise you today with all my heart for carrying all my sins on the cross. I confess and renounce everything, so that there is no sin in me. Fill me with the joy of your salvation and bless me. I will take arbitrary situations in my life that will test me. It will change all the circumstances that separate me from you. I have allowed the devil in my life, who comes only to steal, kill and destroy, so that all my words, deeds and memories may be pleasing to you. Please forgive me. Even now I humble myself in your society. Forgive me my sins and save me. I want to live a good life. Jesus, you are the only God who came to save me. Free me from the grip and slavery of sin in my life. Sanctify me with your holy blood and make me a new man in Christ. Let your light of life shine in my life. Use me for Your glory. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen.
