ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (19.06.2023):

VERSE:
The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments. (HABAKKUK 3:19 KJV)

EXPLANATION:
May the Lord bless you according to Habakkuk 3:19 which says, “The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”

Many times, God wants to use your trials to strengthen you, especially your faith. Sometimes, a trial can come because of your own poor choice. But, take heart, my beloved, because your trials will last only for a little while. I Peter 5:10 says, “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

Accordingly, you may suffer for a little while but then God will strengthen you. You will be able to say, “I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.”

In another Bible translation of the same verse Habakkuk 3:19, instead of ‘deer’s feet’ it mentions ‘hinds’ feet’. What are these hinds’ feet? In Israel, even today there are so many rocky cliffs and on this rocky terrain, lives an amazing creature called ‘Ibex’. It is a very surprising thing that this animal can climb mountain ridges with such ease. Jumping from one mountain to another very easily. Although this beast looks huge, its tiny feet keep it firmly planted on the mountains.

Likewise, my beloved, God can make you walk sure-footed on the most dangerous paths of your life. Yes! You can not only climb but also leap in high places. What a good God we have isn’t it? God will never allow you to go through trials all the time. It will only be for a short while. David beautifully sings in Psalm 18:29, “For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.”

Today, you may be saying that your path is so dangerous. You may be struggling so hard in life that you are contemplating ending your life.

Cheer up, my beloved! Never be discouraged! Never give up! Today, the Lord is promising to lift you up to greater heights. You will be like this sure-footed animal. You will run against a troop and leap over a wall. You will be rejoicing in the Lord!

PRAYER:
Precious Lord ! I thank You that You are victorious over every trial, trouble and obstacle. Lord, help me to rely on You more rather than on my strength. Strengthen me one more time, Lord and help me through the trials I am going through. Help me to gain my confidence in You from Whom my help comes. Lord, even as I pray, make me sure-footed like the Hinds’ feet and help me to run against a troop and leap in high places. I believe with all my heart that You will lift me up to great heights and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray Amen.
