ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (08.12.2023):

VERSE:
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (PSALM 149:14 KJV)

EXPLANATION:
We are meditating on Psalm 139:14, which states “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

Accordingly, it is important for us to recognise that God has created each of us with incredible attention to detail. Yes, even the smallest aspect of your being has been crafted perfectly by Him. You are indeed unique and special in your own way because of the care that God has taken in creating you.

It’s possible that you’re hearing hurtful things like “you’re worthless” or “you don’t matter”. Maybe you feel invisible at work, or like you’re just one of many in the world. It’s possible that you feel alone and like nobody cares about you. You might even think that others would be better off without you.

But, my beloved, it’s important to remember that God cares deeply about you. In Jeremiah 1:5, He says, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,…” Every child of God is precious to Him, and therefore He has a purpose for your life. You were not created by accident. You were chosen and created for a reason, and that reason is to do His will. 

So, my beloved, I would urge you not to go seeking your own will or your own desires. Instead, seek to follow the will of God because that is what you are created for – to do God’s will and to glorify His name. You will do just what you are designed for, and you will feel so light, so easy and full of peace doing it. Everything in your life will fall into place. Would you thank God for this and receive His plan for your life right now? 

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, I am grateful for the assurance that You have created me with a unique purpose and that I am not an accident. Thank You, Lord, for creating me with great care and intention. Please reveal Your plan for my life- what I need to do, how I need to do it, and when. Help me to discover the talents and passions that You have gifted me with, and give me the strength and wisdom to fulfill my life purpose. I humbly ask that You bless me and open the doors that I need to walk through, today and always. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
