Why Pray?

1 The Lord is my shepherd. He gives me everything I need. He lets me lie down in fields of green grass. He leads me beside quiet waters. He gives me new strength. He guides me on the right paths for the honor of his name. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me.

The heart of all prayer is intercession. Our communion with God must be uninterrupted. An underused prayer life means your living an exposed life as a believer. The family that prays together stays together. We pray and fast for spiritual reasons. We obtain what God wants to give us. Prayer is a communion between man and God.
