Spero Senior Ministries transfers management of The Gardens of Hartford to Koru Health

HARTFORD, Wis. — The Gardens of Hartford Assisted Living will be under new management as of January 1, 2024. The Gardens is a 48-unit residential care apartment complex located at 112 Peace Lutheran Parkway in the city of Hartford.

Christian Family Solutions (CFS) sold The Gardens facility to Spero Senior Ministries in 2021 while CFS retained management of The Gardens operations. Now, Spero will align all of its senior living properties under the same management team, Koru Health. Koru currently operates 10 senior living communities throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.

According to Spero Senior Ministries, The Gardens of Hartford name will remain the same and all Gardens team members will remain employed. Christian Family Solutions has provided resident, family, and vendor notification and is working with Koru to set up question-and-answer sessions with residents, employees, and community partners.

Christian Family Solutions (CFS) worked with community partners and area churches to build The Gardens in 2008, and has operated it since that time. In the last decade, CFS has been adapting to meet the increased need for mental health and Christian counseling services, which is now the focus of the organization’s ministry work.
