VERSE:
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (PSALM 118:24 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today, let’s meditate on the verse, “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24).
Although many debate which is the best day to praise the Lord, the truth is that every day is a good day for you to praise the Lord. “This is the day that the Lord has made,” says David. Satan has never made a single day, except the Lord himself has made all the days.
Whoever has faith in their heart that this is the day that the Lord has made for me, they will praise the Lord. The Lord has removed a heart of stone and given you a heart of flesh. Now that the Spirit has been poured into you and you have a new heart, you should praise the Lord for everything and all the days.
May every day be a day of joy for you with praise! There is an important reason why you praise the Lord. That reason is that the Lord is with you every day. Every day he holds your hand and walks you. The end of the world is that He is with you all the days.
Moreover, whatever happens in your life, the Lord will do it all for your good. (Romans 8:28). Even if you suffer in prison like Joseph, there is a hidden good there too. One day you too will be raised as a great ruler like him.
Even if cast into the lion’s den, you have an advantage. The lions’ mouths will be closed. You have an advantage even when thrown into the flames. Christ will come down and walk with you. So even if the fig tree does not sprout, the vines do not bear fruit, and the cows in the stable are gone, you will praise God every day and rejoice and be glad. He is the fountain of your love.
You are bound to praise the Lord not only for all good things, but for all men (1 Timothy 2:1). Because the Lord makes any man shine. He who does not exclude any man. No matter how great and deadly the enemy may be, he has the power to turn him into your soul friend. So you will praise Him.
The psalmist says “…I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1). Beloved, like David, may you always praise the Lord with all your heart. He will do miracles in your life right now.
PRAYER:
Dear Savior! May I also realize how pleasant praise is and give me the grace to beware of it in any situation. Change all the deficiencies in my life and grant me the grace from today to be careful and careful in praising you like the psalmist David. Grant me the experience of praising You like David from the depths of my heart, and thereby feel Your presence from today. Give me a heart that always praises You for everything. Today I am determined to praise You and to glorify You by telling of Your glorious things. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
