ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (21.07.2023):

VERSE:
…the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. (DANIEL 7:18 KJV)

EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today we will meditate on the verse “…the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.” (Daniel 7:18).

Why should you live holy? Holiness is very necessary for you to enter the kingdom of heaven. The scriptures call the kingdom of heaven the ‘kingdom of saints’. Only those who live holy lives can enter there.

The scriptures say: “…there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” (Revelation 21:27). Yes, there is no sin there. The powers of darkness do not work. Dark forces do not penetrate.

You are going to meet the holiness of Christ in that bright land. You will see the holiness of God the Father. You will enjoy the fullness of the Spirit. No matter where you turn, you will see holy angels singing and praising the Lord.

Four lives, twenty-four elders will praise and praise God as holy, holy, holy. You and them will praise the holy God together. Ah! How much holiness do you need to enter that land!

If a man thinks that he will inherit the kingdom of heaven by living as he pleases, he is deceiving himself. You can enter that holy kingdom only if you are holy.

The scriptures say, “…who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.” (Psalm 15:1,2).

Instead of entering heaven, Satan pulls us towards the underworld by showing worldly desires. Those who walk in his ways will suffer eternally. If heaven is left, the netherworld and the sea of fire will be the portion.

Beloved, contend for holiness. Strive for holiness. Above, Paul says, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:…” (2 Timothy 4:7,8).

PRAYER:
Lord of love! I also desire to enter your heavenly kingdom. Help me live a holy life. Instead of entering heaven, Satan pulls me towards the underworld with worldly lusts. Give me the grace to deviate from his path and follow your holy path. I have come unto you with being weak. Forgive my shortcomings and weaknesses and give me the grace to live a holy life before You. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a holy heart and strengthen me. No matter how many desires and sinful things come before me in this world, I entrust myself to you today to save me and grant me a holy life dear to you. You will keep me untouched by the impurities of this world. Make me holy. From this day forward, I will live a holy and joyful life before you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and strengthen me to overcome trials. You will change all the obstacles and such situations and give me a good life so that I do not deviate from the path of following You. From today I will guide my feet from stumbling. Give me your divine grace through your Holy Spirit to live a holy life. To make You happy alone so that the impurities of this world do not touch me, You will lead me by the hand every day from this day forward. Grant that I may live a holy life as You desire and receive Your blessings in full. Good Father, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!
