VERSE:
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. (PSALM 51:2 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.” Today we will meditate on the verse (Psalm 51:2).
When we return to our Father in true repentance He is gracious enough to forgive us as many times as we need. Confess your sins to the Lord and be washed of your sins.
David ran into God’s presence, clasped the Lord’s feet, and cried, “Father, let your blood be upon me. Wash away my iniquities and cleanse me from my sins.” The Lord is gracious enough to forgive you as many times as you wish, when you repent to the Supreme Father with genuine repentance. As you open your heart to your own father, talk to the Lord and be washed of your sins.
Sometimes sin can follow in our footsteps. Flare-ups may continue to occur. Curses and ailments may follow. The only way to stop it is the blood of Jesus Christ. Turn the blood of Jesus Christ into a bullet. Spray and shoot down all the enemy’s powers.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness…the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1:9,7).
We are not only washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, but by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, our sinful thoughts must be burned in the fire and removed. The Scriptures say: “And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:” (Isaiah 4:3).
There are so many shortcomings in our life without realizing it. Scripture says that we all fall in many things (James 3:2). “For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.”. Instead, kneel down, bow down, and declare, “Lord, forgive all my transgressions and wash me clean in Your blood.” Then according to the above verse, it will be understood that He is true and righteous to forgive our sins, remove all injustice and purify us.
While a boy was playing, he broke a beautiful glass jar which his mother had kept safe for years. At that time mother and father were not at home. His sister saw this. Afraid that she would tell his mother, he went to her and begged her, “Don’t tell her. That sister would take advantage and asked him to do all her work. Jesus of love! Forgive me my sins and remove all unrighteousness and purify me. Please forgive me for all my sins knowingly and unknowingly. I am your child. Keep me from committing sins again. Give me strength to overcome temptation. Help me to follow you, believe and experience the joy of salvation. Nothing can be hidden from you. You know my heart.
