13 Inspirational LDS Videos for Teens

In today’s world, being a teen is HARD! There’s so much bullying, misinformation, and bad influences. It can be hard to give teens good information in a way that they understand and listen to. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has created a ton of LDS videos for teens that answer questions, offer advice, and motivate and inspire teens.

13 LDS Videos for Teens With A Great Message

Bullying – Stop It

Bullying has become more and more common. Especially online. There are right ways to handle it, and there are wrong ways. Dieter F. Uchtforf narrates this video about the importance of putting an end to bullying.

Where Justice, Love, and Mercy Meet

Elder Holland shares a powerful story about him and his brother in a scary situation. It’s an excellent reminder of the love Christ has for us, as well as the importance of family and their support.

Living Beyond “What If?”

Cambry Kaylor from the Hope Works Conference shares a life-changing experience. She used to be an equestrian vaulter with dreams of competing internationally, but she had an accident that left her paralyzed. This accident could’ve left her feeling hopeless, but she talks about how she is able to stay hopeful.

Suicide Prevention: Choose to Stay

Teen suicide rates are higher than ever! We have to help put a stop to this. Being a teenager is so hard. But that struggle is only temporary. If we can help get the teens through their struggles, they can live a long happy life. This video is an excellent resource for struggling teens.

Crossing the Finish Line: A Story of Overcoming Obstacles

Teens are faced with so many different obstacles. And sadly, we can’t face the obstacles for them, and we can’t prevent them all from happening. The best thing we can do is teach children how to manage and overcome obstacles, so they can have the skills and mindset required to make it through their struggles.

Lessons I Learned as a Boy

This video tells a story that reminds us how important it is to help others. We never know what others are going through, and if we ever have the opportunity to help someone, we should. We should pray to Heavenly Father to show us ways we can serve others.

The Will of God

It can be hard for us to let go of control and allow for Heavenly Father’s hand in our life. We must trust that God knows what’s best for us. He loves us, and His plan for us is what’s best. If we adopt this attitude, life will be so much more enjoyable.

The Hope of God’s Light

Sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers in the way we want Him to. Sometimes He gives us small but obvious answers. This story is a powerful message about God’s role in our lives, and how much He loves and cares for us all. He is there for us, whether it’s the best day of our lives or in times of crisis.

Bearing Our Burdens with Hope

This video tells a story of a great example of how our burdens can actually help us get back on track. It sends a great message in a way that you are likely to remember forever. This video is great for teens, but adults as well!

I Am Here

A family of LDS vocalists created and recorded this beautiful song. It sends a powerful message that we need Heavenly Father in our lives all the time, and that He hears us, cares for us, and answers our prayers.

For Such a Time as This

This story of Esther is an amazing example of doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. Esther stands up for her people against her husband, who wishes to kill all of the Jews – not knowing that his queen was of Jewish descent. God will always reward us for doing the right thing, even if it’s in a way we may not expect.

What Should I Do When I See Pornography?

Sadly, pornography has become more and more common. It’s become so normalized that it’s hard to not be exposed to it. This means that rather than avoid it, we need to face the issue head-on by being honest and open with our teens. This will help them to understand, and not let curiosity push them to further exposure.

A Piano’s Purpose

This video has an unspoken, deeper meaning that may be harder to see, but it’s an important one. A piano, once loved and used, gets abandoned and damaged. But someone comes along and sees the potential in it, restores it, and then it provides passion for another person as it did once before. The same goes for us, we might feel abandoned or unimportant, but we must never lose sight of our true potential and importance!
